Co-curricular programs
At Sylvania Public School, we are committed to delivering a well-rounded education that extends beyond the classroom. Our co-curricular programs provide students with diverse opportunities to discover their passions, build valuable skills, and actively participate in the life of our school community. From creative arts to sports, leadership to academic clubs, there's something for every student to engage, grow, and thrive.
Dance
Dance group are open to all students. Students come together to explore different styles of dance, express themselves creatively, and build confidence through movement. We offer a mix of choreographed routines and freestyle sessions to suit all interests. Throughout the year, students will have opportunities to perform at school events.
Choir
The choir is open to all students who love to sing, whether they’re seasoned vocalists or just starting out. Each week, students come together to rehearse a variety of songs, from contemporary hits to traditional and cultural pieces. Choir is a great way to build confidence, develop vocal technique, and experience the joy of performing as a team. Students have opportunities to showcase their talents at school assemblies, special events, and community performances throughout the year.
Debating
Debating tryouts are open to all Year 5 and Year 6 students. Each week, selected students come together to develop their speaking skills, build persuasive arguments, and take part in friendly, structured debates.
